ASSEMBLAGE MANIFESTO

Assemblage is a method of building art, especially music and sound art. It is process- based and improvisationally-realized. It is spontaneous, not a genre. The center METHOD OF ASSEMBLAGE is proactive, pro-performance, pro-people! It is an instant awakening of the gaps between composed and improvised, stylized and genreized, electronic future systems and analog knowledge. The result of Assemblage is building concepts to explore the widest possible range of ideas and to present these works to excited, informed audiences.

Composition is a process of "assembling", putting the pieces together. With advancing technology,  composition becomes an excitement of ideas. Electronic soundscapes, poetic gesture, language tones, all of these are working to "build" musical structures. Any idea might convey sound, the unique work captures elements that expand our dimensional understanding of the real and virtual. Process is important, practice of process is necessity. "Assembling" creates the vortex, Assemblage is the event horizon of new sound.

Assembling, a putting together, a coming together. As when we "assemble" we are gathering the forces of creation. This is a method for new work. The vast array of inputs both virtual and psychical is enormous. Assemblage leverages the energy of both worlds, creating new fusions, new possibilities.

"Ma" Music

there are two ways of reading the same character in Japanese language.
On-yomi & Kun-yomi.

so, this particular character is read,

"aida" (which means "in between") by kun-yomi
& "ma"(space between) by on-yomi.

there is no "duality" in concept."

Recognition of sound between spaces. If non dual, tension and cool are important elements to assembling desperate elements into new music, new work.
And further, "ma"... "Yo,Ma"...of sound being born, must come from the uplifting of women and importance in bringing Harmony through Art..more music=#peaceexpansion
